Many students who studied with James Stamp warn that, in many cases, the exercises of this great pedagogue are not well understood and therefore are usually practiced incorrectly. Luckily for us, in the Trumpetland School, we have Stanley Friedman, who was a direct student of Stamp. In this series of video lessons, he will explain the philosophy of these exercises and how to play them as Jimmy intended. His second video lesson delves into the most famous exercise of the Stamp method: the basic warm-up.
