Jordi Albert is a musician, educator and researcher whose initiatives have had great social impact. His project Cemijazz (2008) has reached towns and villages from Mexico and Angola, in Africa, where he completed great educational work through social programs involving children and whole families through jazz.
Since 2007 he has given more than 150 courses in pedagogical musical training, trumpet technique and Alexander technique as applicable to the study of music in 20 countries throughout Europe, North America and Latin America.
In 2014 in Mexico he founded a motor skills rehabilitation center for musicians interested in studying his methodology. His method has been highly successful in cases of dystonia with excellent results. Since 2015 this center now has headquarters in Castellón de la Plana, Barcelona and Madrid (Spain). More than 250 students of all levels and from all over the world have passed through these centres.
